I have been a professional Jazz drummer for 25 years. I studied with Trevor Tomkins and trained at the Royal Academy of music in London.

I have been a keen practitioner of Chinese martial arts for over 20 years. I studied Tai chi Chuan, Wudang shan Chuan, Chi kung, Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Acupressure massage. I was a London instructor the the World Taiji Boxing Association for 10 years, ran my own martial arts school 'Chi for life', and worked as an Acupressure massage therapist for 6 years.
I was born in London and having lived in London, Brighton, and East Anglia I relocated to Gateshead in 2014.
I currently play with the Mark Williams Trio, the Paul Edis Trio, the Riviera Quartet, the Lindsay Hannon Plus, and 'MoHaWi'.
